Eva Perry Wheeler

Mary Eva Belle Perry Wheeler was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her earthly life of 99 years ended on March 6, 2019 when she went home to her Heavenly Father. 

Eva Belle was the daughter of the late Millard and Neta Perry and wife of the late Fred H. Wheeler, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Myrtle Frazier, Johnny Perry, Dette Perry, Lucille Young, Stella Wiggins, Howard Perry, Wallace Perry, Millard Perry, Jr. and great-granddaughter, Miranda Wheeler.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses Faye (Richard) Layton, Freddy (Ann) Wheeler and Andy (Karla) Wheeler; nine grandchildren and spouses Kim (Andrew) Abbott, Scott (Ann Marie), Jeff (Robin) Layton, Ken (Brooke) Wheeler, Kelly (George) Hopkins, Ashleigh Wheeler, Sydnee (Hunter) Byars, Patrick Wheeler and Taylor Wheeler; eight great-grandchildren Zach and Rianna Layton, Reid and Trent Wheeler, Jonathan and Kyndal Hopkins, Eva Joy and Bennett Byars and her brother Dr. Gattis Perry (Carl Joy) and sisters-in-law Virginia Perry and Mary Ann Power and many special nieces and nephews.  . 

Eva Belle was a hardworking, loving, generous, and compassionate Christian woman even until the end when she donated her body to science to benefit the lives of others.

A celebration of Eva Belle’s life will be held at Flat Rock Baptist Church on Friday, March 8, 2019, 7:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549 or Grace Foundation 152 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson NC 27537.
