Evelyn LaPrade Ellis

Evelyn L. Ellis, 71, of Youngsville passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Drakes Branch, VA the daughter of the late Janie Dunaway LaPrade and William Henry LaPrade.

Evelyn enjoyed going to the beach, reading, shopping and cooking for family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband; George Ellis, Daughter Dr.Wendy M. Robbins of Youngsville, NC and a son Brian Ellis and his wife Rochelle of Wilmington, grandchildren; Wyatt and Elaina of Wilmington , a brother; Chuck LaPrade and sisters; Rita Gordan and Patricia Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Barbara Blackley and Pete LaPrade. 

A private memorial service will be held at the home February 20, 2021 from 12pm to 4pm.
