Everette Davis Pearce

Everette Davis Pearce, 99, of Youngsville passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Wake Medical Center. He was born on July 1, 1922, in Franklin County to the late Sarah Pearl Newton Pearce and James Leonard Pearce. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Everette Davis “Davie” Pearce, Jr.  Also preceded in death by his siblings:  Brothers-Bruce, Frank, James, Ray, Bill, and Ralph, and Sisters-Luna Marshall, Vera Broughton, Elsie Shearon, and Mary Lee.

Everette is survived by his wife of 75 years, Lillian Wheeler Pearce and a daughter, Janice Pearce of Youngsville, longtime family friend Rebecca Manning, and many nieces and nephews left to cherish his memory.

Everette served in the US Navy during World War II.  He volunteered with the Youngsville Fire Department.  He was a longtime member of the Youngsville Baptist Church and served as a Deacon in the church where his grandfather was a charter member.

A funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon June 19, 2022, at Youngsville Baptist Church, 315 E. Main Street, Youngsville, with Rev. Chuck Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in the Youngsville Town Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service in the Church Fellowship Building.
