Frances Margaret (Dee) Scott

Frances Margaret Dee Scott, 73, of Wake Forest, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021.  She was born August 9, 1947 in Queens, NY to the late Thomas and Emily Likely Dee.  Frances attended St. Catherine of sienna Catholic Church in Wake Forest.  She enjoyed travelling, especially going on cruises, watching movies, her wine, her dogs, and being with family and friends, especially her sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Richard Scott, Sr., and her sisters Emily Wolhstadt and Evelyn Hewitt.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons Jim Scott, Jr. and wife Christine of Youngsville, Todd Scott of Wake Forest, and Brett Scott and wife Liz of Wake Forest, one sister, Virginia Long of Sanford, and one granddaughter Courtney Scott.

A Celebration of France’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at a later date in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida.  The service will be live streamed beginning at 12:55 pm Wednesday.
