Frances T. Tant

Frances T. Tant, age 94, of Wake Forest passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. She was born in Duncan, North Carolina on June 17, 1928 to Waylon Jackson Tutor and Edith Campfield Tutor. Frances was a manager at a camera store for many years. She was a loving, full-time mother and during retirement, enjoyed visiting every state of the contiguous U.S. with her husband in their motor home. She liked bird watching, insect identification, and crafts in her free time. She often enjoyed experiencing nature with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, William Tant, of Knightdale and Wake Forest, her daughter Theresa and husband Sandy Kennedy of Youngsville, and daughter Sheryl Heise of Ponte Vedra, Florida, her granddaughter Lisa Heise of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, her grandson John Heise and wife Courtney, and great-grandchildren Elijah and Lily of Riverview, Florida.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel in Wake Forest on Tuesday July 26th at 11AM. Family will be receiving visitors 30 minutes prior to the service.
