Frank Allison Henley went home to the Lord on October 10, 2020, at REX Hospital in Raleigh with his wife, Elizabeth by his side. Frank was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee on December 4, 1937 to the late Thomas Hall Henley and Myrtle Simmons Henley. He grew up in Oroville and Redding, Ca. After graduating from Sacramento State College, Frank worked in sales in the electrical industry in Central and Southern California until 1996, then in North Carolina until retirement.
Frank was a founding and active member of Hope Lutheran Church of Wake Forest. Frank enjoyed playing tennis, golf and was an accomplished woodworker. He was a man of God, loving father and stepfather to four sons, a generous man, a peacemaker. Little children gravitated to him. Frank was preceded in death by his son Kurt, survived by his wife, Elizabeth, son Kyle Henley and his wife Margaret, stepson Paul Corsi and wife Kelly, stepson Christopher Corsi, two step grandchildren, Marina and Ella, a great step grandson, Ryker.
