Gail Moon Champion

Gail Moon Champion, 85, died Saturday February 23, 2019. She was born February 5, 1934 in Washington, NC to Justin Woolard and Helena Russ Woolard. Gail worked many years as a legal secretary.

She is survived by: her husband, Donald Lee Champion; her children, Pamela Gail Burns and husband, Edward Burns, Tania Champion Entz and husband Marvin Daniel Entz and Stephen Tyler Champion and his wife, Robin Michelle Champion; grandchildren, Nicole Amy Holderbaum, John Tyler Champion, Kyle Robert Champion, Vladislav Jensen Burns and Donovan Matthew Burns.

Gail’s memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 834 Durham Rd, Wake Forest.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Dementia Alliance of North Carolina in Gail’s name. Donations may be made directly (9131 Anson Way, Suite 206, Raleigh, NC 27615), by mailing them to St John’s Episcopal Church or by bringing them to the funeral service where they will be collected.
