Gary “Buck” Keene, 65, passed away Friday March 29, 2019. He was born July 18, 1953 in Tampa, Florida, a son of the late Fannie Lee (Tyson) and Morris Keene. “You will always be missed but never forgotten; we will forever carry you in our hearts!” Gary was a loving husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend.
Buck enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in the yard but most of all he enjoyed time with his family and friends. His family was his life and his grandchildren were his soul!
He was predeceased by his sisters: Gwen Keene and Lou English; and his brother Billy Keene.
Buck is survived by his wife Nancy, his daughter Susan and her husband Harold, grandchildren Joel & Haley, sisters: Deborah Keene, Marsha Odom and her husband David Odom, and 13 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday April 6, 2019 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bucks memory to the Gary Sinise foundation.
