Gary Robinson

Gary Robinson, 61 of Youngsville, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  He was born August 11, 1960 in Liberty County Georgia to the late Emmett Robinson, Jr. and Ilse Stubgen Robinson.  Gary received his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Florida Baptist Theological College, and his Master’s Degree in Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest.  Gary worked and retired with over 20 years of service for Sherwin Williams Paints, where he had many friends.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors, and enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in laws Dorsey and Shirley Greenway.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Linda Greenway Robinson of the residence, one daughter, Lydia Marie Thackeray of Fayetteville, NC, one son, Gary Michael Robinson of Raleigh, three grandchildren, Tyler, Evan, and Savannah Thackeray, four sisters, and several brothers-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
