Hallie Ray Frazier, 95, passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County the daughter of the late Frankie Alford Ray and Bud Ray and was preceded in death by her husband; Maylon Jones Frazier.

A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday morning April 19, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 2100 Noble Rd. Raleigh, NC 27609. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Youngsville, NC.

She is survived by her niece; Alice Elkins, and many great nieces and nephews.

Having no children of her own, Hallie was known by her nieces and nephews , great nieces and nephews, as well as by many neighbors and friends as "Aunt Hallie". She outlived all of her siblings, John Burton, Curt and Wayne Ray. She was also preceded in death by her nephews John Curtis Ray, Bobby Ray, Michael Ray and Billy Wayne Ray,  as well as her great nephew Curtis Ray.

The family would like to especially thank those who worked together to make Aunt Hallie's last years happy and comfortable as well as ensuring her last wish of  passing away peacefully in her home. Many have helped with her health care namely Bobby Ray's wife, Sue, who chauffuered her to all of her doctor's appointments. Although her niece Alice Elkins did not live in state, she made all the arrangements for 24 hour home health care. Also, the family could not have done this without the amazing home health girls who treated Aunt Hallie with love and compassion.

She touched many lives and will be greatly missed but we know that she is now in peace with the love of her life of 69 years, Maylon Fraizier.

Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. "
