Helen Thompson Jackson

Helen Thompson Jackson, 96, formerly of Overlook Dr. in Raleigh passed away on Monday February 3, 2020. She was born in Surry County the daughter of the late Etta Powers Thompson and Joseph Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband; Chivas Van Jackson, a son; Ron Jackson and a daughter; Norma Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 12 o’clock Saturday afternoon February 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

Ms. Jackson is survived by her sons; Daniel “Danny” Jackson and his wife Mary, Gary Jackson and his wife Theresa, daughter-in-law; Joan Jackson, son-in-law; James Davis, grandchildren; Judy Weller and husband Mike, Jan Yates, Lorrie Simmons and husband Carl, Brian Mead Davis, Terry DeLuca, Ashley Steele and husband Marcus, Meghan Jordan and husband Scotty, Garrett Jackson and wife Chelsea, great grandchildren; Shannan Weller, Gavin Weller, Matt Barbee, Ashlyn Barbee, Nick Nance and wife Gretta, Christine Nance, Carrsha Eavers and husband Matt, Tessa Williams and husband Ben, TJ DeLuca, Tera DeLuca, Paquinn Steele, Dylan Blake Jordan, Madison Brianne Jordan, Dustin Garrett Jordan, Tucker Scott Jordan, Bentley Mack Jordan, Cadence Lee Jackson and Owen Van Jackson, great great grandchildren; Addison Nance, Tenley Nance, Van Handley, Ty Handley, Cooper Simmons, Hannah Carr Eavers, Bella Carr Eavers, Carrter Anne Eavers, Mattie Rae Eavers, Bowen Matthew Eavers, John Carr Williams, Lilly Raie DeLuca.
