James L. Perry

James L. Perry, 78, of Youngsville, passed away Thursday August, 2, 2018 in Raleigh. He was born April 9, 1940 in Franklin County; son of the late John Perry and Annie Alford Perry.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Flat Rock Baptist Church in Louisburg. Interment will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

James served in the US Airforce. He retired from the Postal Service. James loved spending time in the garden and enjoyed fishing at Atlantic Beach. He and his wife Faye attended Flat Rock Baptist Church, where he was baptized. He was predeceased by his sister Teenie Stallings and his brother Buddy Perry.

James is survived by his wife Faye (Ray) Perry, his daughter Angie Timberlake and her husband Kenny, his sister Barbara Faircloth and her husband Ron, his grandchildren, Chris and Hollie Timberlake, great grandchild Evan Chalk, special nieces Becky Daughtry and Sheila Creech, and several nieces and nephews.  

A time of visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main Wake Forest, NC 27587.
