James Herbert Loehman

James “Jim” Loehman was born May 10, 1938 and went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on September 12, 2018. He was born at home in Texas and was a longtime member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church, served in the Navy, retired from IBM, active with Gideon’s International and the community. He never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glenda; sons Michael (Candace), Timothy (Debbie); daughter Brenda Lane (Goble); grandchildren Kaitlyn Yates, Ashlyn, Jessica, Joshua, Daniel Lane, Aimee Lane Hatfield (Greg); great grandchildren Madison Lane and Ethan Hatfield; brother Robert (Carolyn).

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Ethel; sister Barbara Wilkerson. 

Funeral Service for Mr. Loehman will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30 am at the church prior to the service.
