Janet Ethel (Layton) Lantz

Janet Ethel Layton Lantz, 92, of The Crossings at Heritage in Wake Forest, NC passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, N.C. She was born in Sussex, N.J., living most of her life in Branchville, New Jersey, moving to Wake Forest in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frances E. Haggerty Layton and Andrew Layton, an infant son Duane, her husband of 54 years Glenn, and sister-in-law Judy L. Roe of Branchville, N.J.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Buckner (Harry) of Franklinton, N.C., granddaughter Jennifer Bledsoe (Ashley), and great grandson Layton Bledsoe of Wake Forest, N.C., brothers-in-law Daryl Lantz (Nancy) and Jimmy Lantz (Gladys) of Branchville, N.J., cousin Patricia Haggerty Fowler of Killington, VT, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside memorial service is planned for one o’clock PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the Beemerville Cemetery in Beemerville, N.J.
