Jay Wallace Kabala, 44, of Wake Forest died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on June 11, 2020 in Raleigh, NC after a short battle with liver disease.
A visitation has been scheduled for family and friends at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 4:00 to 06:00 PM.
A Catholic funeral service and internment will be held a Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 W. Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587, on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM, followed by a small reception.
Jay entered this world on June 29, 1975. After high school he worked as a plumber and built his own successful plumbing company in Wake Forest.
Jay will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, love for his family, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Jay is survived by his loving wife and son, Marybeth Cavallaro kabala and Andrew Robert Kabala of Wake Forest; his mother of Raleigh, sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Michael Phillips, of Wake Forest, and their daughter Annie Phillips of Raleigh. Also surviving Jay are many beloved family members in Pennsylvania and Texas. Jay is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Kabala and his beloved grandparents.
