Jeffrey Delano Esguerra, 60, of Louisburg, North Carolina passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Kailua, Hawaii to Delano and Janet Esguerra on August 17, 1963.

As the Vice President of Business Support Systems & Assurance at SmartSky Networks, Jeff was a hardworking and dedicated employee. Jeff was an American patriot and USMC son who flew his American flag proudly and devoted much of his time to injured and disabled veterans. His favorite past time was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, “Hoss” with friends. Jeff was deeply invested in those he loved and cherished his time spent with them. He was a tremendous giver of gifts and sought to make others feel welcomed and comforted. Friends and family knew him as smart, funny, thoughtful, and passionate. He loved God and clung to his Catholic faith. He lived and loved fiercely and was loved immensely in return.

He is survived by two daughters, Samantha Sloan and husband Brandon and Marissa Esguerra and fiancé C.J. Larry, a son, Jeffrey Esguerra, II and fiancée Hannah Cleveland, and a stepson, Robert Bailey, III and wife Betsy. Predeceased by his brother David Esguerra, Jeff is also survived by parents, Delano Ramirez Esguerra and Janet Kay Esguerra, a sister, Kelly Esguerra Griel, a brother, Douglas Esguerra, and wife Abigail Esguerra. In addition, four grandchildren, Witten Sloan, Macallan Sloan, “Bo” Bailey and William Bailey and niece Elise Esguerra and nephews William Esguerra and Henry Esguerra.

The family will received friends Thursday, January 4th, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. A small reception will take place afterwards at one of Jeff’s frequented establishments, 210 Nash, in Louisburg.
