Jeffrey William Woods

Jeffrey William Woods, 51, of Raleigh went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 31, 2021.  Jeff was born August 2, 1969, in Raleigh, NC.  He graduated from Friendship Christian School in 1987 and from Bob Jones University in 1993.  Jeff was employed by Rex Hospital for the last twenty years.

He was a member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church.  As a young person, he had been involved in AWANA Club and had earned all levels of awards up through the Timothy award.

 He loved AWANA Club and served as a leader in various capacities for over twenty years.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning June 4, 2021 at the Bay Leaf Baptist Church 12200 Bayleaf Church Road Raleigh, NC 27614. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Jeff is survived by his father, John Woods, and his brother Jonathan Bradley

Woods of Wilmington.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ardyss Marilyn Woods in 2014.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening June 3, 2021 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the Bay Leaf Baptist Church Fellowship Building.
