Jenna Stacey Oetjen

April 20, 1973 ~ February 11, 2021 (age 47) 47 Years Old

Tribute

Jenna was born on April 20, 1973. Her parents are Pam and Al Weatherby, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Ed Stacey, of Cleveland,Georgia. From day one, she was a light to all those around her. She was the older sister to Ashley, Pamela, and Alex. She was always more than a big sister, she was a mentor and best friend to her entire family.
She met her husband Ron when she was a junior at Georgia Southern University and he was stationed at Fort Stewart. She stuck with him through all the ups and downs and they got married in October of 1998. Not even a year later, She gave birth to her first daughter Avery. But one wasn't enough, in 2004 she had her second daughter Lyndsey and in 2006 her youngest daughter Carly. Those girls were her everything. She loved being a mom more than anything in this world. Not only was Jenna a loving mother, she was a very successful entrepreneur as well. She and her husband Ron built multiple successful businesses together in both the security and avionics industries. Jenna was loved by all that worked with her over her 10 years working.

In 2018, Jenna was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia but through it all her faith never once wavered. She faced every challenge she was dealt with a confidence and joy that was infectious to everyone around her. She made the choice every day to be happy and live in the moment, even if it wasn’t the easy choice. Her strength and joy was given to her by God himself and she used that strength to be the rock of her family through all of her trials. Jenna died on February 11, 2021 from masses caused by her AML. Her faith and joy will live on through all the people that she touched.
