Jerry Lee Huff

Jerry Lee Huff, 87, died peacefully Wednesday morning November 17, 2021 at his home in Rolesville.

He was born on October 8, 1934 in Winston–Salem to the late Romie and Lillian Huff. He was a loving and devoted husband to Shirley for 51 years until her passing in 2004 and a gentle, loving father to his daughter, Kim.

After Shirley’s death he met Peggy and they fell in love. She brought joy to his life, and remained a faithful and loving companion.

He retired as a claims adjuster with Allstate Insurance after 33 years. Jerry was a hard worker but in his leisure time he had a strong passion for the game of golf.

He was an active member of the Rolesville Baptist Church as long as his health would allow.

Jerry was a gentleman and provided love and support to his wife, daughter, grandchildren and Peggy.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning November 23, 2021 at Raleigh Memorial Park with Dr. Randy Bridges officiating.

Jerry is survived by his special friend; Peggy Ware, his daughter; Kim Jeffreys and her husband Tony, grandchildren; Taylor Jeffreys and his wife Debrah, Suzanne Loposay and her husband Jarrod, great grandchildren; Demi, Rheagan, Maddie, Peyton and Sheldon, brothers; Ronnie Huff and his wife Linda, Randy Huff and his wife Janet, a sister; JoAnn Motsinger.
