Jerry Arnold Overton

Jerry Arnold Overton 76 of Henderson, formerly of Kittrell, passed away Tuesday April 20, 2021 following an extended illness.  He was born May 18, 1944 in Vance County, NC to the late Joseph Arnold and Grace Moss Overton.  Jerry attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Kittrell, and enjoyed playing music, fishing, and being outdoors with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Elizabeth Dawn Golding and husband Chris of Wake Forest, NC, two sons, David Arnold Overton and wife Rebecca of Long Island, NY, and Jonathan McCalvin Overton and wife Lorraine of Boca Raton, FL, his brother, Robert Eugene Overton of Winterville, NC, two sisters, Judy Overton and Nancy Owens, both of Oxford, NC.  He also survived by seven grandchildren, Christopher Michael Golding, Morgan Elizabeth Golding, Riley Shea, Carlin Noelle, McKenna Grace, Danielle Marie, and Alex Jonathan Overton.
