Jerry T Strother

Jerry “Tony” Strother, 77 of Wilson, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born March 18, 1941 a son of the late William and Thelma (Horne) Strother.

Tony loved the beach, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was known as a Jack of all trades; he could build anything out of things that were around. Tony enjoyed spending time at his place at Lake Gaston, and he was always the happiest when fishing there. He retired from Precision Walls as a foreman.

Along with his parents, Tony was predeceased by his brother Jimmy Strother.

He is survived by his wife Celia Strother, his daughter Gloria Hudnall and her husband Robert, grandchildren: Christian and Layla Hudnall; his sisters: Mary Dean and her husband Robert, and Rachel Chappell; nieces and nephews: Glenn Chapell, Donna Holland, Tracy Strother, Jimmy Strother, and Marty Strother.

A time of visitation will be held with the family from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
