John Carol Bradsher

John Carol Bradsher,  91, of Rolesville, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at WakeMed. He was born in Granville County, the son of the late Nannie and Willie Lee Bradsher and was a member of Rolesville Baptist Church. Mr. Bradsher was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy.

One of the highlights of his later years was participating in the 2012 Triangle Flight of Honor for WWII veterans. “John-John” was a loved husband, father, granddaddy, great-granddaddy, brother, and brother-in-law. He will be missed!

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2018 at Rolesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Bradsher is survived by his wife of 68 years, Phetis J. Bradsher; children, Marcia B. Threewitts of Sarasota, FL, Glenn Bradsher (Lou Ann) of Wake Forest and Christie B. Hill (Tim) of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Lindsey B. Seaby (Greg), Tyler Threewitts (Abby), Laura B. Lloyd (Samuel), Patrick Bradsher, and Brooks Hill; great-grandchildren, Hayden Threewitts, John Tyler Threewitts, II, Sam Lloyd, Graham Seaby, and Bradsher Lloyd; sister, Janie B. Pritchard (Maurice); numerous nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Minnie B. Pepper and Mildred Bradsher and by his brother, Billy Ray Bradsher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rolesville Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 185, Rolesville, NC 27587.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:30pm – 2:30pm in the Rolesville Baptist Church Family Life Center and at the home at other times.
