The past 14 month's was hard on John, loosing his father, June get's cancer , then his mother dies. It was so much to deal with in such a short time. He stood by June when she went through her chemo, and wasn't able to walk. Thank goodness she fought hard to walk again because then John got cancer and she was able to take care of him. That's true dedication and love for each other. Always being there in good time's and bad times til death do they part. I'm sure John wouldn't have left June but God had a plan for him. He's able to walk again in heaven, with his parent's that he missed dearly. The past 4 month's of John's life was hard, he was in pain but never gave up on getting better. So glad that Crystal was able to step in and help both her parents. She did a wonderful Job and I know John was proud of her. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The last few days he was asking for folks he hasn't seen in a while, happy for those that made it. I was with John in ICU , I was talking up a storm, he was drifting in and out, not sure how much of that was because i might have been boring him. He was happy when transport got there to take him home. John was part of this family for 40 years and he will be greatly missed. Life is short never take it for granted.

As a child, Uncle John would always make me laugh and I have this distinct memory of him wearing Bermuda shorts. He was always the fun uncle that would come into town during the summer. Though it was harder to keep in touch over the years, I remember his still remember his warm smile and laugh. It was great to see him and cousin Crystal at grandpa's funeral last year. I'll continue to remember him when I sign my name as we share the same middle name. Rest in peace Uncle John.

I only knew John for the last few years of his life, but it was always a great pleasure to be in his company. He was a caring, considerate and gregarious friend that I shall always carry in my fondest memories, and that I will miss!
