John Alden Force, a loving husband, father and grandfather, of Youngsville, passed away November 23, 2017. He was born in Long Beach, California on May 21, 1942 to the late Chris and Alden Force.
John is survived by his wife, Jean, recently celebrating 52 years of marriage on November 20, 2017. Also surviving are his three sons, Robert (Nina), David (Elaine), and Michael (Carolyn); and his three grandchildren, Jack, Peyton, and Penelope Force.
John served in the US Navy for four years. He was an Electrical Engineer at Grumman Aerospace on Long Island, and at IBM defense systems in Owego, New York, for 20 years.
He stuck with the New York Giants… no matter what. He loved America, politics and history. John was a smart, caring man who will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2017 at Youngsville Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 12 noon prior to the service.
