Jean and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. John and I worked together at IBM, and as a new manager at the time I valued John's experience, level-headedness and humor to get me through the initiation. Later when we ran into each other in the hallways we would talk about the good-ole-days. I truly missed our encounters after his retirement.
