John Ross Foster

John Ross Foster, 23, of Wake Forest passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Bright Funeral Home. Social distancing is appreciated and face coverings are required.

John was born in Lincoln, NE. He moved to North Carolina in 2000 and attended Wake Forest Elementary, Middle and High School. He was a senior at East Carolina University majoring in Supply Chain Management and was a Logistics Manager at Synthonix Inc. He received the Wake County Spotlight on Students Award, an award for outstanding achievement in March 2008 and was in the National Junior Classical League Latin Honor Society in 2014-2015. John loved learning and had a passion for many subjects including music and the theory in its creation. He also wrote music. He studied languages and their etymology and created his own alphabet and language. He loved space. Jupiter was his favorite planet and he would spend time exploring space on his computer. John loved to write and enjoyed character development. He used his knowledge to create a story that had a unique universe and language. John’s greatest love was his family and his friends.

He is survived by his parents, David and Carrie Foster, a sister, Katherine Foster, aunt and uncle, Darrell and Kristen Lack, aunt, Angie Ross and cousins, Sidney Ross, Kaitlyn Lack, Ryan Lack and Tristan Owens. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Maryanne Ross and Mildred Foster.
