Keith Dale McClung, 79, left his earthly home to be with his Savior on April 28, 2019. He was born July 26, 1939 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. His courage during a very long illness inspired all who knew him. Keith was a longtime member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church where he enjoyed being active in many areas of service.
He served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960 working in Radio Repair. He had a career in computer technology services with Memorex Telex and later became an owner of three very successful technical services businesses, SSMG, All Star and Expert Technologies. After retirement he focused on family, friends and playing golf.
His memory will be cherished by his survivors, wife Sharon Price McClung of Raleigh, daughter Carrie McClung of Raleigh, son Todd McClung of Raleigh, sister Frances Surbaugh of Oak Hill, West Virginia, two brothers Richard McClung of Charleston, West Virginia and Mark McClung of Oak Hill, West Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd., Raleigh. Rev. Don Gilbert will officiate. Friends may visit with the family following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
