Lawrence "Rusty" Schram Monroe, Jr.

Lawrence “Rusty” Schram Monroe, Jr., 75, of Wake Forest, North Carolina passed away on March 19, 2021.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 24, 1946 to the late Lawrence Schram Monroe, Sr. and Joan Cronin Monroe.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Jody Monroe and his brother Phillip David Monroe. 

Lawrence is survived by his partner, Melisa Strickland, his brother, Larry Messenger and sister, Peggie Blenman.  He is also survived by his niece Sarah Breault and stepdaughters Shae Ranalli and Jody Leibowicz.

Lawrence graduated from Penn State University, worked for many years in the communications industry and owned Monroe Telecom Services.  Rusty loved all animals, especially horses and dogs.  He was a superb animal trainer.
