Lillian Anna (Spedden) Lipsky

Lillian Anna Lipsky, 92, of Wake Forest, passed away Tuesday afternoon September 20, 2022 at Cadence Assisted Living. She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Harry and Margaret Spedden.

Mrs. Lipsky enjoyed her volunteer service at the North Carolina Museum of Natural History after relocating to North Carolina, serving as a Docent for two decades. She was also an active member of the Lake Lynn Senior Group and the Grey Foxes Bowling League.

Visitation will be available from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, the evening of Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Bright Funeral Home, 405 South Main Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, the afternoon of Friday September 30, 2022, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. 

Lillian Lipsky is survived by children, Michael M. Lipsky, Jr. & wife Tecla of Essex, MD, Tom Lipsky & wife Betsy of Raleigh, NC, Brian Lipsky & wife Tanya of Hampstead, MD, Margaret Estep of Wake Forest, NC and Patrick Lipsky & wife Lorena of Virginia Beach, VA; brother Larry of Mechanicsburg, PA; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lipsky was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Michael Lipsky Sr. and her brother Harry Spedden.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church Poor Box, 520 West Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
