Linda Grace (Swartz) Honeycutt

Linda Grace Swartz Honeycutt, 61, of Colony Ridge, Youngsville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 9, 2020 at Wake Med Hospital, Raleigh, N.C., with family by her side.

Linda was born July 27, 1959, Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late William “Bill” Delbert Swartz and Ethel Marie Lang. She was also proceeded in death by one infant son, Rea Steven Honeycutt.

After several years of an accounting and administrative career, Linda was able to retire and enjoy focusing on raising her daughters and loving on her grandchildren.  Linda loved being outdoors, working with her flowers, spending time at the beach, camping and fishing. She also enjoyed writing poetry and painting.

Surviving are two daughters, Kristina McDonald and husband John, Wake Forest, N.C., Kelsey Honeycutt and partner Quintin Walters, Wake Forest, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jimmy, Erin and Kira McDonald and Emery Honeycutt; four sisters, Cathy Swartz, Concord, N.C., Sylvia Roberts and husband David of Louisburg, N.C., Myra Efaw and husband Brian of Fairmont, W.V., Melissa Swartz and companion Joni of Benson, NC  two brothers, William “David” Swartz, Poquoson, V.A., and Deven Swartz, Winston Salem, N.C., her lifelong best friend Susan Beyelia of Nevada,  several nieces, nephews and cousins that will love and miss “our” Linda.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date to honor Linda’s final wishes.
