Linda Sue Richardson

Linda Sue (Peterson) Richardson Taylor, 76, of Wake Forest NC, passed away at home surrounded by family, Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was born October 24, 1943 in Grant Michigan, daughter of the late Lauren and Evelyn Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Taylor of Newaygo, MI, her brother, Peter H. Peterson, Grand Rapids, MI and granddaughter, Briley Ashlyn Moore, Raleigh, NC.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Bullis Moore and husband Mark Alan Moore, Sr. of Wake Forest, NC, her son, Stephan Michael Bullis of Butner, NC, brother, Dennis Peterson and wife Bobbie Jo, Daleville AL and sister, Jane Rudd, Grand Rapids, MI. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Mark Alan Moore, Jr. and Shannah Grace Moore both of Wake Forest, NC.

Linda spent 25 years working for the Department of Social Services in Michigan. After her retirement she became passionate about all issues pertaining to Veterans. She spent time at the VA Home in Grand Rapids volunteering. She also became active with the VFW in Newaygo, MI and spent several years helping with various activities. Her favorite activity by far was her participation in the VFW’s Honor Guard. In 2017, Linda moved to Wake Forest, NC to spend the remainder of her retirement with her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at the 11 o'clock on Monday morning October 5, 2020 at the VFW Hall in Newaygo, MI.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to the VA Home in Grand Rapids MI or the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
