Lindsay Marie Dougherty

Lindsay Marie Dougherty, 33, of Clayton, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Clayton. She was born March 17, 1986 in Poughkeepsie, NY the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Dougherty. Lindsay was predeceased by her father, Ronald in 2015.

Lindsay was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Hiyde Park, NY and Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill.Lindsay’s pride and joy was her son, Elijah. Lindsay was a Nail Technician at Synergy Spa Salon in Raleigh; she will be greatly missed by her clients. Lindsay would always jump in to help anyone in need, her positive and humorous nature will be missed but most of all her smile. 

She is survived by her mother Patricia Dougherty of Wake Forest, her son Elijah Michael Britt of Clayton, her brother, Justin Dougherty and his wife Jamie, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC. 27587.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made payable to the Lindsay Dougherty Memorial Trust, which has been established to provide support for Lindsay’s son Elijah.
