Lois Keith Davis

Lois Keith Davis, 94, of Wake Forest passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Wake County daughter of the late Iva Harrison Keith and William Vernon Keith, Sr. and was preceded in death by her husband, Ester “Doc” Davis and her brother William Vernon Keith, Jr.

She was retired from the American Tobacco Company in Durham and was a member of the Stony Hill Baptist Church.

Lois had a green thumb. She really enjoyed working in her flowers and garden. She also enjoyed all the people who stopped by and talked to her about her beautiful flowers. Her family, including her extended family, were a great source of joy and love to her. She was a humble, caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her very much.

The family would like to extend a special “Thanks” to her caregivers for all their hard work and dedication.

A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday morning, August 4, 2022 in the Stony Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center with Rev. Mark Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Keith Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Marty Keith Davis and his wife Julie of Wake Forest a grandson, Joshua Davis of Wake Forest and her brother, Benny Keith and his wife Sandra of Wake Forest a sister-in-law, Peggy Keith of Wake Forest and her nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the service in the church family life center.
