Lowell "Pig" Thomas Peace

Lowell “Pig” Thomas Peace, 83, passed away May 28, 2019 in Henderson. He was born May 6, 1936 in Granville County, a son of the late George and Effie (Woodlief) Peace.

Lowell retired from Burlington Mills after 25 years of service. He then went on to have a small shop where he enjoyed being a mechanic and meeting many folks through that shop.

He was predeceased by his siblings: May Peace Green, Warren Peace and Kenneth Peace.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Barbara (Wheeler) Peace, his daughter, Rose Peace Gilliam and her husband Frankie, his grandson, Blake Pace and his wife Lauren, special niece and great nephew: Barbara Wilson and Timmy Wilson, as well as many other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Franklinton.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 at the funeral home prior to the service.
