Magdalen Elizabeth Zino

Magdalen Elizabeth Zino, 90, passed away on Saturday June 13, 2020. She was born in Staten Island, NY the daughter of the late Marie Koffer Khauer and George Khauer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zino.

Magdalen’s greatest joy was just being with her family, especially her twin grandsons Eric and Christian. She was truly famous for her Wednesday night dinners, theme parties, and summertime pool parties in the backyard with friends and family. She was a world traveler with her husband Joe, travelling anywhere from Iceland to New Zealand and the many ports-of-call in between – and in later years, cruising the high seas on family vacations.

She is survived by her Son;  Andrew Zino, wife Rosemary of Fairfax Station, VA, daughters; Barbara Zino,  of Raleigh and Donna Zino, husband Hans Boyesen of Wake Forest, grandchildren Eric and Christian Boyesen, Wake Forest.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 Friday afternoon June 19, 2020 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest, NC.
