Margaret (Lacounte) Campeau

Margaret Campeau, 87, of Wake Forest passed away on Sunday August 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Ontario, Canada the daughter of the late Antoinette Groleau Lacounte and William Lacounte and was preceded in death by a son; Francis Lacounte and a brother; Leo Lacounte.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon August 6, 2020 in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

Mrs. Campeau is survived by her children; Yvonnie Jimmy, George Campeau, David Campeau, Yvette Sherron and Antoinette Fowler, a brother; John Lacounte, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern North Carolina 5171 Glenwood Ave. Suite 101 Raleigh, NC 27612.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 Tuesday afternoon August 4, 2020 at the home of Linda and Vernon Sherron.
