Margaret Scarboro Perry, 91, of Youngsville, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Irene Loyd Scarboro and Charles Boyd (Mutt) Scarboro. Margaret worked at Schrader Bellows in Wake Forest for over 30 years until the plant moved its location. In the years since her retirement, she could often be seen walking around downtown Youngsville and visiting her favorite restaurant Griffin’s for breakfast. She was a kind and loving person who loved her family and was always willing to help anyone in need. Margaret was affectionately known by many as Mema. She is proceeded in death by her husband Corbie Perry, Brothers William (Billy) Scarboro, Vernon Scarboro, Clarence (Preacher) Scarboro, and Sister Lula Mae Frazier.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Perry and Tammy Perry Narron (Andy); grandchildren, Josh Perry (Lauralee) and Jessica Cochran (Eric); great-grandchildren, Brady and Oliver Cochran and Merritt and Maggie Perry along with her sweet dog, Tippy; nieces, Ann Bell and Amy May; nephew, Ricky May and many other nieces and nephews as well as a “special Brother” Larry Lindsey.
We would like to say a special thanks to the Youngsville Masonic Lodge for always being so good to our mema.
