Margaret "Marty" Caudle Seago

Margaret “Marty” Caudle Seago, 76, of Wake Forest passed away Friday, July 9, 2021.  Margaret was born in Raleigh to the late Raymond and Dora Denton Caudle.  She was raised in the Glen Royal Mill Village in Wake Forest, NC along with many cousins and friends with whom she remained close her entire life.

Margaret graduated from Wake Forest High School in 1962 and earned a Medical Secretary Degree from Croft Business School in Durham, NC.  She began her career in the Radiology/Oncology Department at Duke Hospital followed by Family Services of Wake County and retired from the SBI Records Department.

Margaret enjoyed retirement spending time with her cats and grandchildren.  She met monthly with ladies from her high school graduating class.  She also spent time with a group of lifelong friends, the Glen Royalettes and the Glen Royal Baptist Church Golden Circle.

Her family and friends will remember most her love of all animals, especially cats.  She often talked about her own cats but always asked about everyone else’s pets by name.

Her daughter, Monica Hayes and husband Scott, granddaughters, Hayley Watkins, Presley Watkins and Jesse Hayes and many beloved cousins and friends survive her.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Glen Royal Baptist Church in Wake Forest.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Monday at the church.
