Tribute

Mark Kevin Lamb, 45, of Youngsville passed away on Sunday July 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Fredericksburg, VA the son of Nancy Louise Lamb and the late Frederick Lamb and was preceded in death by a sister; Teresa Ann Winner and his father-in-law; Jerry L. Clore.

Mark worked at CenturyLink as a Business Service Technician for over 20 years.  He was married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer Clore Lamb for 22 years of marriage with two beautiful daughters, Macey Robyn Lamb and Cassidy Reece Lamb.

In addition he is survived by his mother; Nancy Louise Lamb, his siblings; Frederick Lamb Jr. (Jeanett); Patricia Carol Winner, Nieces and Nephew: Frederick Alexander Lamb; Brittany McKenna Lamb, In-Laws who loved him,  Doris W. Clore; Jeffrey S. Clore (Cindy); Katie Clore Heflin (Josh); Nikki L. Clore.

Mark was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed many activities such as audio systems, woodworking and smoking meat in his smoker to name a few.  He was a problem solver to many and always had a listening ear.  He enjoyed working on projects around his home but also loved walking and taking naps with his dogs, Nina and Levi. He became a spiritual man after the diagnoses of cancer and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. He is an angel watching from the skies now. 

A funeral service will be held at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon July 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 prior to the service at the funeral home.
