Marvin Ray Jones

Marvin Ray Jones, 84, of Youngsville passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at his home.  He was born March 17, 1938 son of the late Albert and Rosa Cook Jones. 

Mr. Jones was a US Air Force veteran.  He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller.  He and his wife Brenda helped raise 23 foster children over the years.  He and Brenda just celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on January 25.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in New Hope Christian Church Cemetery, 2779 NC-98, Louisburg, NC.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 8, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Bright Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones, a daughter, Jackie Freeman and husband Daryl, a brother, Robert Jones and a sister, Betty Bunn and husband Kirby.
