Mary Lu Bunn

   Mary Lu Bunn, 83, of Wake Forest, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born June 3, 1935 in Wilmington, NC a daughter of the late Barcie and Ella (Hayes) Fowler.  She was predeceased by her husband Paul B. Bunn in 2006.

   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Church 107 E South Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587. The family will receive following the service in the fellowship hall.  Interment will be held at a later date in Whiteville.

   Mary Lu is survived by her daughter Mary Catherine Johnson and her husband Gregg, her sister Joane Wall and her husband Ed, nieces and nephews.

   In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wake Forest Baptist Church.
