Mary-Paige Kendall Merical, 17, passed away Friday April 26th, 2019 at James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital in Greenville, NC. She was born July 7, 2001 in Charlotte, NC.
Passionate about everything she became involved in, Paige spent most of her time and energy focused on family and friends. She had an infectious smile and laughter that would light up every room she was in. You could always find her in the stands cheering on the Wake Forest High School Cougar football team. Paige also played softball, loved music and going to concerts. She was so happy to be able to drive and once she got her license her foot never came off the gas pedal. She used that newfound freedom to take her to her part time job at Freddy’s in Wake Forest.
Paige had an infinite love for all things-family, friends and food but especially her dogs Lola and Morgan. She was yet to decide where to attend college. Paige was a truly beautiful soul who will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends who loved her so much. She will leave a void in our hearts never to be filled.
Paige is survived by her parents, John and Suzi Merical; brothers Matthew Merical of Kingston, MA; Joe Merical (Jaydan) of Charleston, WV; uncle Tom Jarrell (Linda) of Vienna, WV; aunt Nancy (Nanny) Jarrell of Parkersburg, WV; aunt Shirley Harr of Ashburn, VA; uncles Bill Merical (Sarah) of Omaha, NE; Jim Merical (Leia) of Lynchburg, TN; aunts Jan Merical Black (Ron) of Ashland, KY; Amy Merical Sweat (Jeff) of Oviedo, Fl; cousins Tracie (Sissy) Jarrell Hester (Jerry) and children Jacob and Katy of Raleigh, NC; Travis Jarrell (Krystal) and son Connor of Charlotte, NC; Meredith (Friend) Jarrell (Enio) of Raleigh, NC; Jason Jarrell (Dara) and children Nick and Evie of Rio Rancho, NM; Jennifer Campbell (Jeff) and daughters Hannah and Alison of Leesburg, VA
