Mary Louise Willey

Mary Louise Willey, 67, of Franklinton died Friday, July 5, 2019 in Raleigh. She was born August 16, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of Gabriel and Irene Rozsa. Mary was predeceased by her father, Gabriel.

Mary retired after years of working in the nursing field and at Food Lion to spend time being a full-time grandmother and caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, hunting for new recipes, gardening, crafting, reading, playing Words with Friends, crossword puzzles, watching Christmas movies, HGTV, The Hallmark Channel and The Price is Right, and listening to Elvis music. Christmas was Mary’s favorite holiday and she enjoyed telling everyone how many days there were until Christmas. She enjoyed watching her loved ones faces as they opened gifts on Christmas morning. Mary will be remembered for taking care of others; going out of her way to help others and never expecting anything in return.

She is survived by her mother, Irene (Laposki) Rozsa, her husband, John Linville, her children: Tom Willey (Caryn), Brandi Willey Flock (Chris), and Tommy Linville (Priscilla Yates); her grandchildren: Kylie Willey, Ashlyn Flock, Peyton Flock, and Mason Flock; her sisters and brothers: Irene Ann Moore (Dale), Patty Cornelius, Helen Grimm (Jerry), Gabe Rozsa (Ginny), Cathy Woods (Ed), Jim Rozsa (Beth), John Rozsa (Liz), Kevin Rozsa (Debbie), Lisa Poole “Charlie” (Ty Beagle); 23 nieces and nephews, 26 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 W. Holding Ave, Wake Forest.
