Melesa O Nicholas

Melesa Nicholas, 35, of Wake Forest, passed away January 27, 2020 in Durham. She was born February 14, 1984 in Berbice, Guyana, a daughter of Owen Drakes and Monica I. Harris.

Melesa was a member of Nash County Travel and Tourism. She enjoyed interior decorating, traveling and vacationing.

Melesa is survived by her husband of 16 years, Leon M. Nicholas of Wake Forest; her children: Sean Anthony Nicholas, and Ryan Aiden Nicholas of Wake Forest; siblings: Michael Harris, of Raleigh, Monique Baboram, of Bronx, NY, Mericia Drakes of Queens, NY and Paul Drakes of Suffolk, VA.

The family will receive visitors from 12-2 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, North Carolina. A funeral service will follow the visitation and begin in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest.
