Michael "Mickey" Newnam

Michael “Mickey”  Keith Newnam 64 years old of Wake Forest passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2022. He was born in Chapel Hill, NC on November 26, 1957.  Mickey had two Bachelor of Science degrees from UNC and NC State. Mickey deeply loved his family, traveling, playing golf and watching basketball and football. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He retired in October of 2020 and was looking forward to having more free time to spend with his family and developing new activities and interests.

Mickey is preceded in death by his father Stanford Newnam.

He is survived by his wife Martha Newnam, his sons Kyle and his wife Vicki, Andrew, his daughters Brittany and Noelle, his grandson Tomé, his brother Scott and wife Dee, and his mother Jean Newnam.

His family will have a private celebration of his life later this year.

He will be greatly missed by all.
