Myrtle G. Hall

Myrtle Grizzard Ferguson Hall passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born Myrtle Marie Grizzard, September 26, 1946, to Jim Edward Grizzard and Gladys Pauline Harris in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Myrtle graduated from Gaston High school (1964) and later earned her CNA license from Wake Tech. She spent most of her life as a caregiver.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, her first child Jonathan, and her brother George Michael Grizzard. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Myrtle is survived by her son, Michael Thomas Ferguson and wife, Christy;  her daughter, Jennifer Beth Hall Hess and husband, Philip; and her son, Joseph Edward Hall and wife, Hannah; grandchildren, Cami Ferguson, Devin Abbott Hess, Summer Marie Abbott Hess and three grandchildren by marriage. She is also survived by her two brothers, Edward Eugene Grizzard and wife, Mary and Lawrence Earl Grizzard and wife, Donna and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Wake Forest, NC. Funeral will be held Friday, May 27 at 10:00 am at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Wake Forest, NC. Entombment will follow the service in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest, NC.
