I am sorry to be so late with this, but I missed the obituary. The Barnes family was such an important and cherished part of growing up in Wake Forest in the late '40s and '50s. I didn't know Nancy well, but Carroll was a dear friend and my mother, Grace Bond, and Hildreth taught together and were good friends.
Losing Nancy means another little piece of cherished memories are gone. I know she will be missed.
