Patricia Anne Carter

Patricia Anne Carter, 74 of Youngsville, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.  She was born in Wake County, NC to the late Thomas Henry Carter, Sr., and Georgia Inez Laughter Carter. She graduated from Wake Forest High School, and Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh.  Patricia enjoyed working, watching TV, animals, and being with her family and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jo Carter Gay, her brother, Durward Carter, her brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Gay, and her nephew, Michael Gay.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother Tommy Carter and wife Jean of Durham, her niece, Virginia Gay Alford and husband Herbby of Youngsville, niece-in-law, Sandra Merrill Gay, nephews, Tony Carter and wife Dianne, Tim Carter and wife Ginger, Jeff Carter, and Tommy Carter, four great-nephews, two great nieces, two great great-nephews, three great great-nieces, and special friends Janet Morris and Cindy Lecher.

A graveside service celebrating Patricia’s life, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery 2817 Durham Road Wake Forest, with Pastor Donnie Cash officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to your local animal shelter.
