Patricia Ann Shaw

Patricia Ann Shaw, age 70, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born April 9, 1947 in Jackson County, and is the daughter of the late John W. Williams, Jr. and Onita Alene Lowe-Zanders.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 5814 Euclid Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri, 64130.

Patricia graduated from Lincoln High School and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Penn Valley Community College. She worked for more than 20 years as a medical transcriptionist for doctors in private practice and at Osteopathic, Research, and Baptist hospitals. She enjoyed fashion, bowling, sewing, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her children: Shelley Cromartie, Kim Smith, Mario Hamilton Sr. and Wayne Shaw; former spouse: Gene Hamilton; aunt: Marena Williams; half-sisters: Sheila McKelvy and Lorena Jan Williams; and grandchildren: E’sha Watson, Tyler Cromartie, Mario Hamilton Jr., Justin Cromartie, La’Mourieaa Shaw, La’Montay Shaw, and Andre Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her former spouse Wayne Shaw.

Floral arrangements may be delivered to the church by 4 pm on Friday April 20, 2018.
