Peggy Jordan Jeans

Peggy Jordan Jeans, 73, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was born July 11, 1945 to the late Cliff and Maebelle O’Daniel Jordan.

Beside her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman “Tom” Jeans; two sisters, Edna Bailey and Maebeline Marshall; five brothers, Eugene, Larry, Louis, Julian and Winifred.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Pastor Phillip Lyon will officiate. Burial will follow in Wake Forest Cemetery.

Surviving are: two daughters, Joan Vaughan and husband, Tony of Victoria, VA; Kimberly Hinnant and husband, J.R. of Louisburg; three sisters, Doris Cooley and husband, Bervin of Wake Forest, Mary Frances Ross and husband, Clifford of Wake Forest, Genevia Marie Jordan of Kinston; a granddaughter, Crystal West and husband, Jason of Henderson; two great-grandchildren, David Tyndall II and Valerie Anne West; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends at Peggy’s home, 705 North Wingate Street, Wake Forest on Saturday August 11, from 10-3pm.
